​Rock Your Monologue for Teens (12+)
Mon-Thurs, June 19 - 22, 9:30 a.m. - noon $150
Rock Your Monologue! Learn award-winning techniques used by working actors, including acting on-camera with finesse, while creating truthful and dynamic performance. Bring your age and type appropriate 1-2 minute monologue(s) to first class. DO NOT HAVE them MEMORIZED! Never Memorize before you Analyze. 

Bring Fairy Tales to Life, (Ages 6-15)
Mon-Fri, 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. June 26 - July 1
Performance:  Fri & Sat at 11 a.m. $200

Bring Lunch. Focus is on freeing the body and voice as young actors collaborate to create staged productions of 
a public domain fairy tale TBD! We incorporate Transformational Theater so actors get to play several roles and lead roles can be shared by several actors. Based on Paul Sills’ Story Theater.


Teen Acting Intensive
Mon-Fri, July 10-14, 9:30-3:30, $425
Learn the Academy Award winning Chubbuck Technique used by A-List actors. This week offers a well rounded approach to on-camera and stage acting that includes physical and vocal techniques, script analysis, the Phrase Technique for auditions developed by Margie Haber, and character development that brings YOU to the role.  

Dynamic Presentations for High School & College, 
Mon-Fri, July 17-21, 9 a.m. - Noon. $225
Whether you enter Forensics Tournaments, want to do better in class presentations or need to nail your public speaking style for professional pursuits, this class will give you techniques to present yourself and your ideas better.  This class combines strategies used by Fortune 500 Companies with techniques used by Academy Award winning actors to create relationship-driven presentations.  This is the Dynamic Executive Program shared with Business Professionals and Corporations. If you have material you need to work on, bring it.


16 Bars and What d'ya Get?  Nailing your Musical Theater Audition
Performance Class - Dates TBD
Learn professional vocal technique as you connect voice and body for dynamic performance. Students will work on their 16 bar song that can be used for auditions for Musical Theater. Performance for family and friends on last day!  Course is co-taught with Maureen Cashin Bolog and Ami Bouterse. Limited space.

On­-Camera Acting Technique - July 12-16 - Tuition $150
Entering Grade 2-5,  (1:30-3 p.m.) 
Learn how to analyze your script and stay in the moment with authentic, relationship-­driven behavior. Identify and hone your unique qualities and learn to bring yourself to your acting work to create rich characters with vibrant relationship. Actors will learn audition techniques, working on­-camera using a variety of scripted material. Actors’ Craft students have landed roles in film, stage, and television productions using these tried and true techniques. These same techniques will help students deliver effective school presentations.
Ami Bouterse has collaborated with Maureen Cashin Bolog of Actors' Craft to offer Singing for the Actor with programs for Adults, Teens and Children.  

Ms. Bouterse has performed soprano favorites in opera, oratorio and musical theater with such venues as Milwaukee Opera Theatre, Skylight Opera Theatre, Waukesha Choral Union, Ash Lawn Opera Festival, Opera Theater of Pittsburgh, New York Japan Society, Operafestival di Roma, Dorian Opera Theater, and symphony orchestras in Kenosha, Racine and Waukesha. At the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, Ms. Bouterse is an Assistant Professor of Music where she teaches private voice and other related courses, including directing the Opera Workshop. 

She received voice and opera theater performance degrees from the University of Wisconsin - Madison and Carnegie Mellon University respectively. In addition, Ms. Bouterse earned Level III Certification in Jeanne LoVetri's Somatic Voicework, which featured contemporary commercial music vocal pedagogical technique at Shenandoah University.

Ms. Bouterse enjoys working with singers of any age and type. Her students have received numerous opportunities including prestigious college scholarships, performances in young artist programs, workshops with Broadway casting directors, professional rock band tours, and leads in musical and opera productions.

Developed by world renown Acting Coach, Ivana Chubbuck, these 12 acting tools create a solid foundation that will keep actors present and inspire a raw, profound, dynamic and powerful performance. The Chubbuck Technique builds upon those techniques used in the past and teaches actors how to use their emotions not as an end result, but as a way to empower a goal. It teaches actors how to win.
